DR. ZACH FENDRICK

PT, DPT, ATC-L | Physical Therapist
Dr. Zach’s interest in physical therapy began like many others’ as a patient first. As an athlete growing up, he suffered many injuries that had him in and out of physical therapy giving him an appreciation for the role that a physical therapist can play in someone’s life. These experiences led him to pursue an undergraduate degree in athletic training at Penn State where he was able to work with some of the best athletes in the country . Looking to further his understanding of rehabilitation, Dr. Zach pursued his doctorate degree in physical therapy at the University of Delaware where he was able to study under some of the top researchers in the field today.

After graduating and starting his first job, Dr. Zach saw first-hand the gaps in more traditional approaches to physical therapy and the ultimate effect that had on patient outcomes. Always committed to learning and education, a lack of answers for the patients in front of him led Dr. Zach to a renewed focus in his learning to understand the complexities of the human body.. Dr. Zach’s education of late has centered around better understanding the individual nature of every single patient’s pain and treatment strategies that treat the individual as a whole to better serve each person’s unique situation.
Dr. Zach grew up in Rumson, NJ and was a two-sport athlete playing soccer and basketball. More recently, Dr. Zach has transitioned to training for endurance events having competed in both triathlons and running races of various distances. It is important to Dr. Zach to maintain an active lifestyle not only for the health benefits it provides, but also because it allows him to continue to appreciate what his patients might be dealing with. We all have goals that we are working towards, and it’s important to understand how training for those goals might impact our body as well as what needs to be done so that we can keep working towards whatever goals are important to us.

DR. TOMMY MAZZEO

PT, DPT | Physical Therapist

Dr. Tommy is a physical therapist with a lifelong passion for movement, performance, and helping people reclaim their active lives. Before becoming a PT, Tommy spent nearly a decade as a personal trainer and group fitness coach, eventually owning and operating a gym in Millstone, NJ.

While working with clients of all ages and abilities, he recognized a common challenge—when pain or injury entered the picture, his ability to help was limited. That realization drove him to pursue his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Kean University, building on his foundation in movement to close the gap between fitness and rehab. Tommy’s own athletic journey has been filled with lessons.

After years competing in baseball, CrossFit, and endurance events, he found himself frustrated by nagging injuries and ineffective treatments. It wasn’t until he connected with clinicians who took a truly holistic, individualized approach—like those at Game Changer PT—that he began to confidently get back to doing what he is passionate about. This experience shaped Tommy’s clinical philosophy: movement is essential to well-being, and no one should feel like pain is a barrier to doing what they love.

Tommy earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from Rutgers University before shifting to a career that aligned with his passion for health. He now blends years of real-world coaching experience with clinical expertise to provide individualized, results-driven care.

Whether you're looking to return to sport, recover from injury, or simply move pain-free, Tommy is committed to helping you get there with clarity, compassion, and confidence.Outside the clinic, you’ll find him running, biking, lifting, or hiking—still pursuing the same goals he helps his patients reach every day.
